(set: $daycounter to 1)You leave your cozy, safe home, locking the door. You then follow the dirt path coming from your front door and reaching out into an intersection. At the intersection, there are two arrows: one pointing towards the Woods and other pointing towards the town.
You pause for a second before holding your breath and heading [[towards the Woods.]]You take your first step into the Woods and you're met with bare trees, twisted in all sorts of weird silohouettes. The air is [[ominous]] and purple, smelling of a strange, natural scent. There's no obvious path to take. It's almost as if the Woods have engulfed you...
You feel as if you've been put under a spell, with no control over your body... It takes you further into the misty woods. After you [[blink,]]You look up into the sky, seeing nothing but black skinny branches and swirling clouds. There is no light except the faint purple glow in the Woods. It's somewhat suffocating to be trapped in this dark world. Just minutes ago, you were basking in the sun of the blue sky.
