3D Modeling
I'm currently in the process of learning how to 3D model, animate, and add textures. Here are some of my assignments. The 3D styles that I'm in interested in are 3D pixel art (A Short Hike, Inscryption) and stylistic realism (ex. Genshin Impact, Breath of the Wild, Studio Ghibli-inspired).

Here are some projects from my 3D modeling and animation classes. All made with Blender by me.

A 3D animation assignment for one of my classes. We were to make a small world for a vehicle to travel around and a vehicle powered by a piston (or so that it looked like it was). I also added a toon shader and I really like how the atmosphere of the world turned out.

Another 3D animation assignment. For this assignment, we worked with cloth physics to clothe a character. I had some technical difficulties, but overall, it was good practice.

Here is the animatic to get a feel of what kind of shots I wanted. The assignment called for it to be 30 seconds. I couldn't replicate it all like how I wanted in the final but I'm still pretty happy with the results.

This was my long project for my 3D animation class. All models and visuals are made by me, while the audio is from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
I reused models I had made for my 3D modeling class and rigged them for this animation. I wanted to add facial expressions, but I didn't have enough time to learn how to and also edit the mesh so that it would work. |
Maya + Substance Painter
Below is a small short-term lootbox project that practices the 3D modeling pipeline from concept art all the way to implementation in Unity. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how it turned out! I learned a lot of things and it was really incredible seeing my concept art turn into an actual model. I couldn't figure out how to model all the details from the original concept art but I still gained a lot of new knowledge from this.
If I were to redo this project again, I would definitely make the high poly model more high poly and the low poly model a little more high poly. I ran into a couple of issues when generating the maps due to my models being too low poly.
